Speed up your operation whilst simultaneously increasing operator comfort and reducing the risk of accidents with a Combi Hitch system. An in cab control box provides the operator with a simple overview of hitch operation and prevents accidental unhitching. The control box then confirms to the operator that all the connections have been made and the hitch is locked together.
Self Aligning
The tapered central pin at the base of the hitch locates the hitch when coupling. As the tractor's lift arms are raised, this pin centers the hitch. Two hooks locate over the chrome plated tubes at the base allowing sideways movement whilst aligning; and the large central hook holds the two parts together. A hydraulic lock then prevents the two parts from separating. There is a mechanical indicator on the hitch along with the indicator light on the in-cab control box which confirm to the operator that the hitch is securely locked together.
Electrical Connections
The Combi Hitch is supplied as standard with a 7-pin trailer light socket and an additional connector which can be used to connect a further 6 cables e.g. for work lights, camera etc. In addition, kits are available for most control boxes, including the TeeJet 500 control box historically used on our range of lime spreaders; and ISObus which is becoming the more common choice.
Hydraulic Connections
6 x 90 litre/min and 2 x 150 litre/min hydraulic connections come as standard. This is the maximum number of fluid connections that can be made through the hitch. Load sensing hydraulics can also be accommodated if required. Suitable for all hydraulic applications including brakes. Two of these connections can be utilized for air brakes if required.
PTO Connection
Hitches can be specified with or without the PTO connection as required. All PTO connections can be accommodated including various shaft sizes and spline configurations.
