Calibrator
Icon
Available on all L-line and M-line spreaders, this simple to use control box provides
quick and easy machine set up, application rate independent of
forward speed and on the move rate adjustment. The system also
records information relating to a particular field including the
area spread, the application rate and the total quantity of material
applied. With 2 way
RS232 communication the Icon can accept software updates and is
compatible with all leading GPS systems such as Green star, SOYL,
etc.

how the design of our machine ensures the application rate can
be changed without affecting the spread pattern.

Calibrator
Zurf
Standard on all L-line weigh cell machines the calibrator Zurf provides the operator with all key machine information in a simple logical display. Individual buttons for each function avoid scrolling through menu's to enter settings. Whilst spreading the system continuously monitors the flow rate of the fertiliser and makes adjustments to ensure the target rate is always achieved. |

Calibrator
Totz
New for 2021 the Calibrator Totz is supplied with all M-line weigh cell machines. This new generation control box features a full colour touch screen further simplifying data entry. All information regarding machine performance including rate, calibration value, area spread, hopper contents, work done and machine settings are displayed and can be adjusted directly by tapping the screen. As with the Calibrator Zurf, the system continuously monitors the flow rate of the fertiliser whilst spreading and makes adjustments to ensure the target rate is always achieved. |

Weigh Cell
Our weigh cell machines use a parallel linkage design which ensures correct loading of the load cell for maximum accuracy. The Intelligent Control System continuously weighs the hopper contents and validates those readings using other metrics to allow for all real world situations such as rough terrain, or sloping ground. By filtering this information and eliminating erroneous readings the Intelligent Control System greatly increases accuracy.

ISObus
All KRM weigh
cell spreaders can be supplied ISObus ready. Easy and logical
operation have always been key guidelines in the development of
our electronic controllers. To continue this strategy the ISObus
solution displays the same easily understandable graphical layout
on the tractors terminal. Click here to watch a video looking at Isobus and tablet spreader controls. Examples of our machines running through OEM ISObus systems are shown below.

TeeJet Aeros
When a full ISObus system is required, KRM supply the TeeJet Aeros system, this comes as a complete system with the head unit, GPS receiver and easily transferable tractor/spreader loom. All units supplied are unlocked for section control and VRT as standard. For more information click here. This solution is ideal where customers have an older non ISObus tractor which shares the spreading with a more modern ISObus tractor. The TeeJet Aeros can also be used as second screen on an existing ISObus system to provide the operator with a greater overview and avoid having to split screens. |

Auto
Switch
Both the Icon
and Zurf control box's can be linked into several GPS units to
provide auto on/off. This system automatically switches the machine
on and off at the optimal point to ensure no overlaps or misses
and reduce operator fatigue. Furthermore when spreading irregular
shaped fields the system can automate both Standard Section Control
and Dynamic Section Control, this feature is also useful when
a narrow tramline is encountered.

NAVI App
NAVI App is a tablet based solution for GPS spreader control, compatible with our Zurf and Totz control boxes via the optional Navi com module. The app is free to download and has a demo feature, it can downloaded here. It provides guidance, section control, automatic on/off and variable rate maps can be loaded. Click here to watch a video looking at tablet and Isobus spreader controls.

The
NAVI Com module neatly mounts to the back of the spreaders control box and provides the wireless connection to your Android tablet. The system also allows for the connection of other variable rate systems
these could be non GPS based, such as a nitrogen sensor. |
